This Privacy Policy explains how the Speaker Cleaner app ("the App", "we") handles your information. We designed the App to work without accounts and to keep your data on your device wherever possible.
The App does not require you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location, and we do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising.
The decibel meter uses your microphone to measure sound levels in real time. Audio is processed on your device only to compute a sound level — it is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or any third party.
The optional camera feature lets you take a photo with the current decibel reading overlaid. Photos are saved only to your own device photo library when you tap Save. We do not upload, access, or store your photos.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use a subscription-management provider to confirm your subscription status (entitlement) and may receive your purchase/transaction history for this purpose. We do not receive your payment card details.
We may use a privacy-friendly analytics provider to understand anonymous, aggregated app usage and to receive crash/diagnostic data, in order to improve the App. This may include a device identifier and usage events. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with ad networks.
If you enable cleaning reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. No server is involved and no data leaves your device for this feature.
If you send us a message through the contact form on this website, we store your message and your email address (only if you choose to provide it) so we can respond and improve the App. We keep a short-lived record of the sending IP address solely to prevent spam — it is not stored together with your message. Messages are retained for up to 24 months. To request deletion of your message, contact us through the form.
The limited data described above may be processed by: Apple (purchases), our subscription provider (entitlement), and our analytics provider (anonymous diagnostics). We do not sell your data.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
You can revoke microphone, camera, photo, and notification permissions at any time in your device Settings. To request information about your data, contact us.
We may update this policy; the latest version will always be available at this address with an updated effective date.
